Valentines Day. It means a whole lot to a lot of people. Me? not as much. Dont get me wrong, I dont mind it, but I've never gotten all crazy about it even when I was single. I dont feel you should wait until one day of the year to pull out all the stops, so to say. I enjoy celebrating this "day of love" with my husband, but I know we dont need to go spend all the money we've been saving on eating out for dinner, or for a dozen roses. Now, my honey already got me my specail vday present. My pink sparkley toms :-) oh joy. We dont have anything set in stone for how we are going to be celebrating tonight, but a good movie, some wine and a yummy home made meal sounds mighty perfect to me!

But speaking of love, I feel so blessed to have so much of it in my life. Zach is amazing. He is still learning (and always will be for that fact, im a girl, we change and are moody!) and figuring me out. But man is he starting to get me good. He knows we he needs to push just a little bit further to get me to spill the beans or blurt out whats bothering me. Im a
awful not so good communicator and he is a great one, most of the time. Because he loves me so much he really works with me and teaches me new things everyday about communicating and just how to better our relationship. Now, im not gonna lie. We have a far from perfect relationship, I think most NORMAL people do. We have our really hard days, really hard, but then we have all these amazingly wonderful days that totally trump any of the bad. Zach still treats me like a princess and would do absolutly anything for me, and I love him so much for that.
This past weekend was such a great weekend leading up to vday. Zachs daughter was down for the weekend, so I got to hang out with her a lot. My mom took us shopping on saturday which was A-MAZING (thanks mama times a million if your reading this!!!) and Sunday was just an all around perfect kind of day. The weather was pretty nice. We got to hang outside quite a bit, and Zachs daughter Savannah talked poppy (my dad) into taking the canoe out for the first time this year.(the canoe trip didnt last very long...way too windy) My sister and her husband and 2 little boys also came over and we all just hung out at Mimi & Poppys all day. Savannah made the sweetest valentine for my parents it almost made me teary eyed. My older nephew, Preston, and Savannah got to split an awesome Vday cupcake from Gigi's (highly recomend trying a Gigi's cupcake if you havent already).Savannah and Preston had so much fun playing together! And to end the day off Savannah got her valentines present from us, which was a ring with a ruby in it. She loved it! I love all of them so much and feel so blessed to have so much love.
